If you have had gasric bypass...I need your help!!!?!

Question: I am trying to lose weight quickly and efficently, I wanted to have gastric bypass but insurance will not cover it and I have a few medical problems from being over weight. Right now I am in school so I don't get the right food or exercise. My doctor suggested to me that I should try to intake the food of a bypass patient. Does anyone have the exact measurements and food they ate?

The next day after I had the surgery, they brought me a tray, with an egg on it, green jello, (it is always green), toast, a banana, and my coffee, a small box of cereal and a carton of milk to pour over it. I ate two bites of the egg, and took a sip of coffee and I was full. So bypass patients eat very little.
But you could start with the egg, and a half cup of cereal, coffee without cream or sugar. Or the egg and half a slice of toast, and the banana.
Just take what ever you are now eating, and divide that in half.
I understand it is possible to lose on the BRAT diet also, that is Banana, Applesauce, Toast, and rice. Just make sure you stay healthy. You should see your Doctor before you start.
Good Luck

My wife had that surgery and eats about a cup of food per meal. She has to make sure it is high in protien so there isn't much room for fatty food or sweets. Good luck.
