Love handles :(?!

cannot stress enough that you have to start with long-duration aerobic exercise if you want to trim any part of your stomach. Spot toning will prove ineffective because you need to raise your metabolism enough to burn that extra love handle fat. Remember, it's all about total body fitness and losing weight all over.

I have the same problem, i use about a 50 pound weight-
1- hold it in one hand
2. other hand on hip
3. leen to one side-the side the weight is on, lower till you feel a little strain, this isn't a huge movement
4- do this a few times on each side-tomorrow you'll be soo sore



or i lay on my belly with my hands behind my head and rock up ..really works the lower back and sides

crunches! do as many crunches as you can do, then when you can do that many without struggling, add on more, then when you can do that many without struggling, add more, so on and so forth.

then do this thing that is kind of like a crunch, but different. you're in the crunch position. put your hands behind your head and cross your fingers together. you bring only your right elbow up and bring up only your left knee and touch your elbow to your knee. then go back to crunch position with your hands behind your head. bring only your left elbow up to your right knee, then go back to crunch position. this is one rep. do 10 of these then when you can do that do 20 then 30 and so forth.

You don't have to spend any money on any exercise equipment. Just grab a stick, like a broom or something. Place it on you shoulders and grab it with both hands as if you were going to lift it upward. Do this standing up and move your upper body from left to right, this will target your love handles. Do as much as you can so you can until it hurts..Hope it works for you!

My love handles drive me crazy too! I know a few workouts you could possibly try though. Lay on the floor as if you were going to perform a regular crunch, but instead of sitting upwards, sit up but more towards the side. It is kind of hard to explain through typing, but if you know what I'm talking about than give it a try. I know people suggest using hand-weights when trying to get rid of love handles, but weights are used to build muscle, which may just make your love handles more apparent. Good luck!

The best exercise you can do is jogging/running.

If you were to use a machine to exercise, your body would benifit, but it would soon adapt to doing that one exercise you do over and over again. Jogging/running is a unique exercise in that it's always different each time.

This is why many people do sit-ups forever and ever and at first see improvement, but then little afterwards. You have to always be changing it up, testing your body, and that is how you can successfully lose weight.
