How do i reduce my body fat % without losing weight?!


Question: do i do strength training more and less cardio? [i do lateral thigh trainer for 20 minutes most days of the week; i also do the exercises in the seventeen magazine 3x a week]

and do i have to lower my calorie intake from 2000 - 1500? i eat really healthy. i love peanut butter :P

i wouldnt do anything with your calorie intake and just focus on your exercises. like you said you dont wanna lose weight you just want to replace some of that fat with muscle for a more toned appearence. cardio burns fat and makes you appear slimmer all around in the long run but you'll probably lose weight as well. i'd suggest doing low lvl cardio (either jogging for 20 minutes or walking for 30 daily) and on top of that various exercises such as crunches, push-ups, yoga stuff for 20-30 minutes daily. (i dont know what the 17 magazine exercises are but those could work as well i suppose) overall its about 40-60 minutes a day of exercising which may seem like a bit much but it goes by super fast with music and you feel much better afterwards.

Lower your calorie intake and fat intake especially... depends on your goal weight...
increase cardio 30 mins to an hr 4-5 times a week, and continue weight training.
