poor girl you are only 12. you should not have body image issues at 12. dont try to compare yourself to super models or celebrities. just be healthy and active and be a kid!!!

btw...you're certainly not overweight! please dont think that you are. there are people with serious obesity issues in the world. be happy and lucky and not so vain at only 12!!! you are a kid!!!

I dont have a link. But you arent overweight...trust me. You dont always go by age..you go by height with weight. For 5ft, 106 pounds isnt overweight at all.

I am twelve and I weigh somewhere near you. Just keep eating healthy foods and exercise atleast 2-4 times a week. And don't worry about this kind of stuff at such a young age!

one of these tools is the BODY MASS INDEX or BMI, and it is the most usefull and frequent method to determine ones status.

It doesnt help for people under the age of 18.

These charts do exist. Search "Body Mass Index" and you will find one easily.

That said, these charts cannot account for bone and muscle density and the size of your breasts. It would be more effective to have your BMI actually checked by a professional. Call your doctor's office to learn if they can do this or if they can tell you who in your community does.

you are not...stop making youself believe you are...its just going to make your teen years that much more miserable if you are worring about your weight at 12, there is something wrong with the youth today. You should be out running around, that will make you loose weight, and eat better not starve yourself

First thing is that you are not fat at all. You are normal. Second thing is is that these websites like http://nhlbisupport.com/bmi/ is a bunch crap. I think they are not 100% at all. For example me, i am 250lbs and 6 foot. Aparently i am obese because i am 34% body fat. I would have to be 225 to be just under obese. The calculations does not count in things like muscle tone. Like i work out a lot for muscle training. I use the scale at the gym and it says i am only 19.7% body fat. I would not listen to the thing at all. I think it is totally wrong as me as an example.
