Are vegetables a good midnight snack when you trying to lose weight?!


Question: For some reason, i sleep sooner after i eat something. Sometimes a can't sleep at all. Wondering if eating vegetables can make you gain weight when you sleep(like one or two pieces cauliflower or brocoli)?

It is not a good idea to eat anything two or three hours before you go to bed.

This is because you want to eat when your body is actually digesting nutrients...when you sleep, your stomach shuts down, as it were, and the contents of your stomach get absorbed as fat instead.

In fact, if anyone has ever heard of the product known as 'Body Solutions,' it was a big thing a while back. I believe they got sued because their product didn't do anything, except that you had to take a spoonful of this pink crap two hours before you go to bed and not eat anything afterwards. The truth? There wasn't anything in that pink crap, it was the not eating before bed that was causing weight loss in customers.

do not eat after 9pm. no snacks at all.
