What do you mean by runner? Long distance running like jogging? Or sprints?

If you are not a strong long distance runner it's okay. Start slow. Stay relaxed. Only go as fast as you can go. No need to keep up with anybody but yourself. If it's about as slow as a walk that is fine. Start slow and each day work on adding speed. Little by little. Before you know it you will be running a mile and beyond. I trained a 350 pound guy who had never ran a mile in his life. In less than 3 sessions he was jogging a mile and in less than a month he jogged 5 miles with out stopping. Now it took us well over an hour to do it. But after another month of jogging he had knocked his time down to right at about an hour. So it's all about pace. Go slower than you think to start. Then every day you try to add a little tiny bit of speed.

If it is short distance then work on your legs to increase speed. Do interval sprints to break your ryhthm up. By that I mean run fast then slow then super fast then slower. Go out and just spend 30 minutes doing that. 5 minutes of a slow walk/jog followed by 1 minute of a really fast run right back into a slow walk/jog and continue to repeat it. That will get you past feeling tired so quickly. And as for speed you need explosive strong legs. Do squats lunges and plyo work to get your legs quicker and stronger.

Those are all signs of someone out of shape.

Just don't run? For P.e. if you have that class simply run 3 laps instead of four. thats how i passed.

you sould try running more like every other day so that you get used to it or you can try geting in athletics or a sport believe me it works

You get itchy because your blood is circulating fast and comming to the surface of your skin, your breath is supposed to get short because you are exerting yourself. And running is a full body excersize so your entire body should be getting worked.... If your slow, try running wind sprints for practice, I have been running for 15 years and I had the same probs. Don't worry just keep running you''ll improve....

I have the same problems I've always had them, yeah i know i'm out of shape, but I prefer walking or swimming to running. If you don't have a choice, just push through. don't worry if your slow or not, who cares anyways.
