If i want to make morning cardio a HABIT, will ihave to do it for 21 days straig!

Question: can i have 1 day off a week?

Answers: can i have 1 day off a week?

You should take a rest day. If you're concerned about falling out of the cardio habit easily, then make your rest day a day where your other routines are different, too (maybe Saturday or Sunday if you work a traditional job/school). Try setting your alarm for the same time as your cardio days so your sleep cycle doesn't interfere with you making a new habit. Or cross-train on your off day.
I know for myself that if I don't get up and work out first thing in the morning, it won't happen.

I would advise you to have a day off. You need to relax a bit. 6 days in a row is excellent.

you can 1 day take off, but most important is determination.

The best routine to start-off is every other day and then after about a month go to five days a week. You have to have breaks in order for your body to rest/recover.

You need to take a day off every week to recoup and to avoid burnout. If you make it one of your weekend days and have a routine for the rest of the week there should be no problem. Most people take off Sunday and already have a different routine on Saturday than Sunday, and have one set for Mon-Fri. Add Cardio to your Mon-Fri routine for 4 weeks to form the habit, and add it to Saturday routines, too. Although Saturday and Monday will be hardest to stick with, you will eventually just accept morning cardio as essential as brushing your teeth.

i used to do 6 days a week, with 1 day off.
also tried many other ways but 6 days a week kept me going till i got where i wanted to be (waist) size wise
