If you want to be healthy, you should not want to drink soda, not even diet. How about apple cider? It's bubbly like soda but 100% juice. Or carbonated water flavored with juice like the ones from Clearly Canadian?

In what way do you mean healthy? They do not provide calories which is good for weight maintenance. However they do not provide any nutrients either. Drinking moderate amounts (i.e. 1-2 cans per day) can be part of a healthy diet. White sodas are better choices than dark colas because they don't have caffeine or phosphorus. Too much phosphorus pulls calcium from your bones and weakens them. Drinking water or low fat milk are your best healthy drink options.

It's not healthy. However it could be diet. I drink from time to time diet coke.

I hate to break it to you. No soda is healthy, especially the diet ones. They contain fake sugars which are worse for a person than actual sugar. Now, as a junk food treat (for a diabetic) any of the diet soda's are as good as another. The only difference between the ones you mentioned and the others is caffeine...which unless you have a reason not to consume it is just as bad as the fake sweeteners... but no worse. If you don't have any diabetic reason not to consume real soda, you are better off with the real stuff. It is actually healthier for you than the fake. If you are diabetic, it is best to only have the diet once in a while as a treat because as I mentioned before the fake sugars are horrible.

My aunt used to drink diet soda all the time because she was diabetic. She died too young of cancer because of continual ingestion of this substance. Once in a while is ok, but it shouldn't be used daily.

i only really like diet dr. pepper--it really does taste like regular dr. pepper.

but there is "diet coke plus;" the soda has vitamin supplements

I've asked Physicians about this before, and they say that there is a lot of sodium in Diet Sodas.
I do drink lots of mineral and antitoxin water, which are pretty darned good. Vitamin water is great, too. Has lots of nutrients and not many calories in it.
If you want to drink diet 7-up, that would be your best bet. You may want to call a Pharmacist and ask their opinion, or call a Physician's office, but, a Pharmacy should know, and be more readily available to answer your question. Also, a health food store would provide you with an answer. Here are a couple of sites that may help you with an answer. Good luck, and sorry about the length of my answer- lol! Take care!
