What is the best time to work out?!

People can fall into the analysis paralysis trap with this question many times. The most important thing is that you DO get your exercise sessions in. Not when you do them.

The short answer would be that the best time when you most 'feel' like it. When you know you're going to be able to put some good effort into your workout. For example, I'm not a morning person so training in the morning would be a waste of time. One , I'd hate it and two I simply wouldn't have the intensity at that time of day. So I train in the evening since that's when I'm ramped up and ready to go.

Now if you wanted to get technical, I could argue for evening cardio/exercise being superior. Your metabolism is naturally stimulated in the AM but tails off in the evening. If you exercise in the evening you are stimulating your metabolism at a time it would normally start to slow down. Additionally, if you exercise in the AM and then eat all day and evening and go to sleep, what is likely to happen to any excess calories you have
floating around? They get stored as fat. Yeah you might burn them off in the morning but to do that you still have to pull them out of (fat) storage. But you
