How can I do sit ups on a pull up bar?!

Question: I already have a pull up bar installed in my doorway, and considering that my ab exercises are starting to get old (I'm getting tired of doing 200+ sit ups a day... even with a medicine ball), and my abs arent getting any bigger (already have the six pack, but I'd like it to be a bit harder). I was hoping to try hanging by my feet and doing sit ups that way for an intense workout.

The problem is I cant figure out how to suspend myself. Thanks in advance for the advice.

You have to be part monkey :) Ok for real now. Raise your body with your arms. Pull your knees up. Straighten legs ober the bar and bend at the knees. This should do it. Be safe and have a mat or pillow under you incase you fall.

Try just hanging on to the bar and raising your knees. If you can do this easily, straighten your legs and raise your legs out in from of you while hanging. You can also work on your obliques and lift your knees/legs to the sides.

u could do leg ups where u keep ur legs straight and try to raise them up to ur hands or i think they sell these things u can attach to ur ankles and they kinda clip onto the bar so u can hang upside down..the only problem with that is i have no idea where u could find them.

just try
