Shouldn't diet soda be considered a negative calorie thing?!

BECAUSE THE ARTIFICIAL SWEETENER SLOWS THE METABOLISM DOWN , MUCH MORE THAN THE CAFFEINE HELPS . IN OTHER WORDS ALL THE CALORIES IN THE FOOD YOU EAT WITH THE DIET SODA DON'T GET USED UP . DIET PRODUCTS WILL ACTUALLY FATTEN YOU UP ------IT'S NOTHING BUT A RIP OFF AND B.S. .EVER NOTICE THE FATTEST PEOPLE YOU SEE ARE USING DIET PRODUCTS AND STILL GAINING WEIGHT ? IF YOU WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT AND USE THEM -----GET OFF OF THEM AND YOU WILL LOSE . THE DIET PRODUCTS ARE MULTI-BILLION A YEAR SYSTEM AND IF YOU LOSE WEIGHT YOU WON'T NEED THEM ANY MORE .

IS NOT CONSIDERED A NEGATIVE CALORIE BECAUSE IT HAS NO CALORIES, THE ONLY FOOD I KNOW THAT HAS NEGATIVE CALORIES IS SALAD, BECAUSE I HAS LESS CALORIES THAN YOU BURN EATING IT.

Diet soda is a poison, period. The sweetening chemicals are things your liver doesn't recognize and can't break down easily so it stores it where your body stores all excess toxins, in fat cells. If there aren't enough, your bodies first priority is to protect itself, so it makes more fat.

There are no studies showing that diet sodas are effective in weight control and several showing they are linked to weight gain. Do your research!!!!

edit: german o's salad story is a myth. Eating a salad used about 5 calories, lettuce has about 8 calories per ounce.
