Dont beat your self up for this a lot of people have this problem!! (including me) Its about dicipline not wilpower. YOu have to know NOT to indulge so much into those foods MAKE YOURSELF not do it. I have slipped so much because of the holidays its horrible but I know that I will be right back on it after X-mas! I have a "cheat day" once a week where I will indulge in whatever I had a craving of the past week, you just have to becareful not to eat EVERYTHING U WANTED the entire day!! But for lunch if you want a buger go and get one!! Make sure your exercising hun!!!

your body sometimes confuses hunger and thirst. If you feel like eating then have a cup of water. Wait half an hour and 9 times out of 10 you wont be hungry anymore.

I'm going through the same thing. I just pack healthier foods and its an absolutely must to stay away from sugars and starches..especially sodas. Eat as much as you want..just make sure its the right kinds of foods..also drink alot of water to keep the stomach full. Hope this helps and good luck!

Bonjour madam

Its about eating, more protein, than carbs, i have lost lots of weight in last month, its good, it wont go on quickly as i am now 12 stones isntead of 13, i used to swim 3 times weekly last year and priori years,

I now do circuit training, and other exercises, when i train, i feel hungary.

So east drink protein, dont worry ok!

be happy!

aurevoir dear madam

If you are not feeding your body every couple of hours (3-4) it starts to go into starvation mode and you will over eat the next time you eat anything and slow down your metabolism. Eat 5-6 small meals a day. Like a piece of fruit or a protein bar or something. It will help keep your blood sugars stable and your metabolism going.

I have a problem with portion control. Once I get started, I eat for taste, not for fuel. My tricks are to prepare my portions ahead of time or throw away a 1/4 of food at every meal if it's a big one. I box up half of what I order at a restaurant or order the appetizer size portion.

Try to pay attention to when your tummy is really hungry instead of when your mind tells you that you are. A lot of the time you are just dehydrated and need water. Try drinking a bottle of water first instead.

Good luck!

It's not will power you lack....everybody has will power.

It's breaking a habit that you should focus on.

Try to do 2 things.....

1) write down every morsel that you put into you mouth for 2 weeks.....and then see where you have a problem.

2) remove all the "bad" foods from your house and plan 5-6 small meals a day the night before and stick to it for 30 days.

You will have a new lifestyle with food and staying "good" will be easier.

You want to eat certain foods because you tell yourself that you can't have them. I have the same problem... we all want what we can't have.
So, I would suggest not to put anything on a " cannot eat at all" list, but rather just find healthy modifications to your favorite foods, and remember, everything in moderation.

Maybe, try having a "treat day" once a week, when you would allow yourself to eat your favorite food.. that way you won't feel deprived.
Or look around for healthy foods that you really enjoy to replace the unhealthy ones...

It's your choice. I eat healthy because it make me feel good about myself. Also motivates me because of the results I get.

I don't know if you need to lose weight, but lets say you need to lose 30 lbs. when you lose 10 that makes you feel good. when you lose 20 thats better. when you get to 30 or even better 35 that is great, and makes you feel great about yourself. why would you want to go back to what you used to be? I perfur to stay happy. It motivates me to stay in shape because i feel better about my self.

But no one can make you want to, you have to deside. When you do deside, you need to make it a lifestyle and not just some fad diet. if it becomes a life style then results will come.

Try an exercise programme, sounds like you are eating out of boredom.
