that is not a good way to lose weight...they are serious medicine, only for when you are having trouble moving your bowels. using them for "weight loss" means you are starving yourself into malnutrition by removing your food from your digestive tract before your body has had time to absorb all the proper nutrients from it. they can also cause dependence so that you cannot have regular bowel movements in the future without taking them. but if you are serious, just ask your parents to get you some...see how that goes over...
laxatives as in the stuff to lose gas..? you can get them at any drug store, or even grocery store, yes they are OTC

I don't suggest using laxatives to lose weight. They might work, but you're essentially destroying your lower digestive tract and can make it harder for you to lose weight naturally. Laxatives work by removing water from your colon, and will appear to have made you lose weight (but it's only water weight, so it's false weight loss). If you abuse them, you can become dehydrated and make having a normal bowel movement a problem.
so, yea, BAD IDEA! Laxatives are NOT diet pills. If you want to loose weight then you need to go talk to a doctor and ask about a healthy diet and fitness routine. Taking laxatives is not a healthy way to loose weight and actually teeters on the edge of being part of an eating disorder...falls under bulemia accept instead of throwing up, it comes out the other end way sooner than it should (and a lot runnier...ewww). This means you don't absorb the nutrients from your food like you should and you can get very sick and do major harm to your body.
Ever read any warning labels on the sides of over-the-counter stuff? Dont they say stuff like "Dont be an idiot and use laxatives to lose weight?"
