Are Lean Pockets a healthy meal replacement?!
Question: I am considering eating Whole Wheat Lean Pockets rather than eating a full meal. They have protein and vegetables and they seem to be reasonably healthy. I also eat plenty of fruits and not much else. Would a diet like this help me lose weight or just stabilize it?

They might be sufficient for a single meal replacement for each day or every other day, but not every meal. You should focus your attention more on portion sizes than a specific food. Watch your caloric intake, if you are overweight, try a little below 2500 calories a day, maybe 2000. If you are only a little overweight keep near 2500, but make sure you get enough fruits/vegetables, exercise, and don't drink diet soda. Diet soda may not have too many calories 9or any), but it makes your body think otherwise and can effect your normal caloric intake.
A diet like this will quickly run down your body. You need a certain amount of calories to sustain yourself, and although lean pockets are reasonably low in calories, they are not necessarily healthy. They are very high in sodium. Please speak to a nutritionist and your doctor before you continue your plan.
In a pinch they are ok. But I would not make them a staple for anyones diet. There are much better choices are there.

Remember, these things are processed. Processed food is bad for you; calories aside.
They are better than many things, and worse than many things. I keep some in my freezer, and nuke one every once in a while when I get a craving, sure. But limit them, they are far from a "health" food - they are just leaner than regular hot pockets, which ain't sayin much, lol.
