What would be the best Protein for me?!


Question: I am a 19 year old female college athlete who just underwent 2 knee surgeries. It's time for me to get back into shape! I have lost LOTS of muscle.

I have never taken protein before but a lot of friends reommend it as well as a friend who is a pro volleyball player (I am a volleyball player also).

What would be the best protein for a female who wants to build/repair muscle?

Whey Protein Isolate.

Tofu, if you don't mind the taste. But if you're looking for a Protein formula/ shake, buy some "Muscle Milk." All you do is mix it with a drink, and it doesn't taste that bad either.

-best for athletes looking to meet protein requirements

lean beef or pork chop
-best for rebuilding muscle without adding fat
