Fasting? Any extra guidelines?!


Question: Every few months I go on a one day "fast". I.E. (going without solid food) for health and spiritual purposes. Is there anything I can do to make the "fasting" process even more beneficial. And is one day enough?

i do only liquid diet actualy once a week and its very good drink tons of water no sugar stuff and ull feel great or u can just pick one fruit or vegie to eat for a day or even a couple days ive done that with apples only or plain fat free yogurt i feel so good after

Do understand that our bodies are not created or meant for fasting. Therefore, fasting is purely a spiritual / mental exercise and you should not ask in Diet & Fitness about it.

- Meat, Fish, Eggs
- Milk and Dairy
- Fats and Sugars

If you're doing it for spiritual reasons then it is you motive that is most important.
