What should my goal weight be?!


Question: i want to lose weight, but i'm not really sure how much weight to lose, like 10, 15, or 20 pounds? i'm 5'1 and 119 lbs. (i'm 18 years old). my body type is apple i guess, i have a flabby stomach and big boobs. i've been about this weight for a few years, actually i've lost 7 lbs since august but i can't tell any difference.. what goal weight should i aim for?

You don't sound like you need to lose any weight! Tone up maybe but 119 at 18, girl you have it good!

Perhaps you think you're to skinny and toning up is fine but I don't think you need to lose any weight.

Tone up your stomach by doing stomach crunches, 25 in a row 5x. You'll be a little sore at first but it'll pay off if you keep it up!

Look on a website such as calorieking and calculate your BMI (Body Mass Index) and see what your target weight should be.

Your ideal weight would be 105 lbs so you are actually 14 lbs above your ideal weight. If you aim for 110 lbs then you only need to lose 9 lbs. Trying to lose 20 lbs seems unnecessary in your case and is also much harder than losing 9 or 10 lbs.
