Bodyweight squats strong legs?!

It will not make you a lot stronger or your legs a lot bigger, however it will help!! Try holding grocery bags with groceries in them, or something heavy that you have around your house. This will at least help tone your legs.

It won't make them bigger but it will burn fat and make them more defined.

Squats and lunges will help tone up your legs and butt, but I agree with the first person that it won't make you a lot stronger--however, it will def help! If you are a guy, they may become larger. I've been doing tons of squats lately and only see definition, no bulking. I'm sure I'm somewhat stronger, but I doubt it's much different.

if you want to build muscle, you can use your body weight, but doing explosive squats will help you build the muscle faster and better in your legs. do the normal squat, but jump up as high as you can, extending your arms, and then land with your knees bent so you don't hurt your ligaments.

two good ways to go. lots of bw squats (matt furey hindu squats demo on youtube) or low rep one leg squats (also demos on youtube but probably need to look up how to technique also) either will make you stronger and hindu squats will definitely increase mass. i have a book on one leg squat and one arm pushups called Naked Warrior by Pavel Tsatsouline. technique is everything. if you want to get bigger you've got to eat more calories too.
