Does anorexia during puberty stunt growth and breast development?!

Question: This is a really urgent, serious question. I am 14 and a half years old. For the past month, I have started to develop anorexia. I got my period before I became anorexic, but my anorexia has stopped my menstruation. I am currently 5 foot 4.5, but doctors predict that i can grow to be 5 foot 6. will anorexia prevent me from reaching 5 foot 6? Also, will it prevent my breasts from growing properly? I would really appreciate it if people answered this seriously and as soon as possible. Thank you.

yes it does stunt growth and your breasts will not grow or grow VERY little

i had an eating disorder and for my whole disorder i was the same height but a couple months after i recovered i grew 1/4th inch

hmmmm...
why don't u ask ur doctor because anorexia is SERIOUS and u should probs stop like now

Yes it can stunt your growth and your breast development. Anorexia leads to malnutrition and that can cause very serious problems, I hope you are in therapy for your anorexia. You can even get premature menopause. The results of anorexia are not good...hair loss, osteoporosis, rotten teeth, to name a few things. Please get treatment.

Yeah that can stunt ur growth and ur breast from growin also hairloss and other gross stuff! U need to get help now!

Yes. Anorexia stunts growth of all sorts. Seriously you need to get a therapist or something to help you through this disorder. Anorexia is a real disease and it could kill you. Stop now while you are aware you have a problem. EAT!!

Yes, it could. You should speak to your doctor about your anorexia, as your concern should actually be your anorexia.

yeah it'll stunt your growth of everything.
and it will cause.....
Low blood pressure
An abnormally slow heart rate
Reduced bone density, often resulting in osteoporosis
Muscle loss and weakness
Dehydration, sometimes leading to kidney failure
Dry and brittle hair and skin
Retarded growth
Infertility, too

good luck, get treatment
god bless
