Tuffy, this is a tuffy. Especially if there is an underlying psychological cause. Your explanation indicates tb (tiny bladder), although that may not be it at all.
I'm wondering how your bladder habits are in the daytime? Do you "hold it" until you absolutely have to go? Or...do you pace yourself and go say every four-six hours?
When your body is at rest, it is working to cleanse your system of impurities. Try voiding ( passing your water) on a regular basis throughout the day. Even if you fell you don't have to go, there is always something in there to come out. You have breaks at work or school roughly every two hours. Try and go on average every four hours throughout the day until bedtime.
Retraining your bladder isn't easy but it can be done. You will achieve your goal in due time. You just have to retrain your bladder throughout the day so it will adjust to bedtime. Then it will know that bedtime is for rest and not being overactive. There are some medications that will help for at bedtime. See what your pharmacist has.
Hope this helps. Like you said, it's more embarrassing than anything else.
i would suggest going to see a urologist. sometimes there might be a physical reason you are having this problem
well if it helped make sure u dont drink not 2 but 3 hours before bed
Have you ever considered getting some medical advice?
You can get a sheet that you put on your bed. when you start to wet the bed, an alarm goes off and wakes you up... your brain then gets used to the fact that when you wet the bed you will wake up... and after a time you will start to wake up BEFORE you wet the bet
