How can I get back my appetite?!

Question: I got a stomach virus about 4-5 days ago and it was really bad. The food I ate immediately before this now repulses me and makes me gag just thinking about it.

I cannot eat anything. I eat a little bit of something and then I'm completely full. Its getting really frustrating because I want to eat....I feel very tired and weak all the time and I need food.

I've already lost about 8lbs. because I can't eat anything. I am staying hydrated, however.

How can I get back my appetite after this bad stomach virus? How much longer do you think it will be until I get my appetite back?

Smoke marijuana... if it's legal where you are (of course).
To be serious, though, you should always consult a doctor (particularly a nutritionist, if you can) to determine the best solution for you. However, here are my suggestions...
If you can stomach eggs, you should start with those. They contain a fairly significant protein content which will help with weakness. It should also help with your nausea. If you can't handle the eggs, try steak or a healthy serving of good red meat, or fish (if you're a fish-eater). Again, you're wanting the protein. Minimize your servings of leafy greens as they are filling. You don't want pasta, breads, or "bulky" carbs. These will fill you up quickly with too little nutrition. Whole-grain rice is a good idea to supplement your protein serving. It provides good, natural carbs for your body to use as fuel. Basically, you want to eat the foods that will fill you slightly while providing protein and vitamin-packed nutrition. I hope this helps.

start eating 4-6 small meals a day...and when i say small i mean REALLY small, like an example of one would be some crackers or something, and that will hopefully speed up your metabolism again and make you regain your appetite.

start with plain foods, such as toast or crackers. keep up the hydration and hope you get to feeling better.

medicinal marijuana

Not very long dont worry its only an After effect as the dead virus still remains in ur body after death some effects could be dwindling, Try Dark chocolate

I don't know that a person needs an appetite to eat.
You can eat a small amount every hour or every few hours until you get back to normal, and that's ok. If you're tired and weak then make sure that what you eat is substantial (potatoes, bread, etc.), and, make sure you take some multiple vitamins while you are recuperating.

Your stomach is telling you that it's still not quite 'back' yet, which is why you can drink but not eat. Try drinking brothy soup with a few vegetables first, then the next day drink the same thing with a bit of meat added. It could be two or three weeks before you stomach is willing to accept 'real food' again, but if you 'nudge it' slowly with soup, your appetite should come back sooner. Also, try eating things like mandarins, satsumas, or clementines (all tiny tangerines) ... they're sweet, they're small, and they 'sit well' on a stomach that won't hold anything else ... I know, because I've had the same virus ...

I don't know for sure how to get your appetite back, but in the meantime, when you do eat, make sure you eat things that have protein in them ... peanut butter is great, other things like hamburger, chicken, fish, etc, but those seem like they might be too much to eat for you! :( Nuts have a good amount of protein, so try eating some peanuts, almonds, cashews, etc, even sunflower seeds all day. Drink stuff that has more nutrients in it than water, like Gatorade.

Short explanation of why the protein: you are feeling, as you say "very tired and weak all the time," which means your blood sugar is low. It will be if you don't eat! Protein gives you more energy than sugary foods and lasts longer after you eat, keeping your BODY fed longer after you eat.
