Answers: me and my friend would like to go to curves, but we want to see the other options too.

Curves is a fitness routine. You go to a fitness center and actually participate in a fitness routine. Since I've never been, I'm not aware if they give dietary advice, but I know they focus on the fitness aspect. Weight Watchers is more about the nutritional/caloric part of weight loss. It is concerned with how much you eat/caloric intake. It awards "points" for each food and puts you on a program where you are allowed a certain amount of points per day. Personally, a combination of both is good if you're overweight. I'm lucky. I'm not overweight. My family is relatively small and is fine just eating in moderation and exercising frequently. That is the key to weight loss and maintenance once you reach your target goal. Work out 5x a week with weights/cardio and also eat a sensible diet. By diet I don't mean actual "diet." I mean lifestyle. Weight Watchers emphasizes portion size and caloric intake/carbs/fat/protein etc. Be aware of that. Don't deprive yourself of any food. Just limit how much you have. Eat sensibly and eat well-rounded. Include every food group for all the nutritional reasons. Weight loss takes time and there is no quick fix. It's a constant battle. But balancing exercise w/ HEALTHY portion control (depriving may actually make you fat as your body will hold onto any calories it can if you skip meals) is the only way to lose weight that STAYS OFF. Good luck. Please, let me know if you need additional advice. We've all been there.

Curves is a workout place that has a specific workout to do in a routine, I think it's called a "circuit". Weight Watchers is a diet program, actually a life style change. The two can be done together.
