Did a lot of sit ups and im been sore for the last 2 days?!

Wear and tear of muscle. It's normal and it happens every time you overwork a muscle. You should not have done too much, too soon. Instead you should have gradually increased your exercise regimen over several weeks/months so that your body can adapt to the extra workload. Then you would not be sore all at once and there will be a quicker healing time for muscles. Also, doing stretching and warm-up exercises before and after the situps help.

Because you worked the those muscles.

that is called a delayed onset muscle soreness (doms) it happens since your muscles were not yet prepared for the activity...thebest way to cure it is to perform the sit ups again

It's your body's way of getting used to what you're doing. Once it's used to your routine, you won't become sore anymore.

It can be one of two things, if its something your body is not in a physical routine of doing, its in the process of adjusting, also, soreness and cramps, believe it or not, are the body's ways of removing fat cells

your muscles werent used to it. wait till there not sore anymore then do more. you shouldnt be to sore next time.
