Question: can someone tell me if playing the wii everyday for half an hour will be a good cardio workout and then you go do crunches and lift weights

If you play intensively it can be a good warm up. Make sure you workout after with weights for at least 30 minutes though. Lift weights every other day, cardio everyday. And stretch well.

The Wii, as much fun as it is, is not an exercise. Video Game marketers say it is a good workout to sell their product. The Wii is the best console for exercise, but its not good enough to be considered a workout.

depend what game your playing. Wii sports and mario and sonic yes but resident evil and sims no.

the wii is fun and all but its bullshit that it helps you gain weight, think about it, better than a cardio workout? i dont think so
