Weight loss question?is exercise crucial to losing weight faster?thanks?!


Question: ima 17yr teen boy.heights 5-8 to 5-9 and currently weighs 235pounds.ive currently dropped down from 258.my diet consists of drinking lots of water some fruits and 1 nice meal a day.but i keep juggling between 234 to 237 pounds on the scale for the past 2 days.i think the reason why is because im not getting no exercise in.if thats the case what exercises would help me alot thanks.

Any form of cardio will help because you will burn calories. Also are you lifting weights? If not you should add that to your routine. Not only do you built muscles and tone up but the more toned muscles you have, the more calories you burn.

Since you are not exercising at all, start with something as simple as walking briskly for 45 minutes to an hour each day, then build up from there.
Don't ignore proteins and veggies, and cut down on foods that are high in carbs and bad (saturated) fat.

Your objective is not to starve your body into shock but rather change your eating habits and exercise.

Running and doing some type of weightlifting, the more muscle mass you have the more calories you burn....good luck!

If u r a boy than its must exercise to increase ur metabolism., however having balaced diet is the most imp. Never skip ur meals .Try to have honey lemon with luke warm water early morning that will also help u to reduce weight.

exercise isn't really necessary.

I have known people who lost 10 pounds in 1 week doing nothing but watch TV. They was able to do that because they took diet Pills like Xantrax and they were eating NOTHING BUT Tofu.

If anyone tells you otherwise then they are lying or just jealous that you lost weight fast. Just try not to do that method for too long because your skin sags. I have know people who lost weight superfast and have sagging skin.

The secret is to limit protions. These are are some tips if you want to be active. These activities burn calories up in the 3 digit number in less than a hour. They are

Jumping on the trampoline
Swimming in a swimming pools
Very physical sex

Those two activities are actually fun. Swimming burns like more than 300 calories in 1 hour. We sweat a lot but we don't notice it because we are in water and constantly holding our breath underwater so we don't notice the heavy breathing from the exercising. Trampoline burns around the same as swimming and it is fun to do. You burn so much because your legs are constantly having to jump. Sex can burn a lot of calories if it involves a lot of movement.
