Nuts are very high in fat, and while providing some protein & fiber, a whole bowl of it is not very healthy in the big picture.

If they are eating one of the commercial brands that has added oil and sugar, then any nutritional benefit is certainly lost.

Honey is basically just sugar, and while it metabolizes more slowly in the bloodstream than conventional sugar, it is still largely empty calories, many of which will convert to fat.

HELL YES!!

Well both honey have their downsides...Both are are high in sugar, and peanut butter is very high in fat.

However, peanut butter is high in protein and honey is great when you have a sore throat.

Maybe you could just have some fruit?

yes it is.... sounds nasty too.

Peanut butter and honey may be full of fat and sugars, but they are full of good fats and good sugars/carbs. I know it sound wierd that these things can be goo, but they are. Unprocessed sugar in honey has lots of stuff that is goo d for your immune system and the carbs do not treat your body the same way that processed carbs do. Organic peanut butter is the best, if not that then lowfat/low sodium is second best.

Who cares? If so, peanut butter is a good fat. They're both natural foods and at least have nutrition in them. It's still ten times better than eating McDonald's.
