Today im jogging for about 45 minutes but i weigh 238 pounds will this hurt my j!


Question: im a 17yr old boy and weigh 238pounds and my heights 5-8 to 5-9 and im planning on jogging today but will my weight hurt my joints by doing this exercise?thanks

yeah it'll probably hurt, but you still need to do it anyways. and even if it does, just know that the more reguarly you jog, the less it will hurt every time. also know that it's completely worth it and good luck !!!

if your worried about your joints you can walk, jog or run on hills or an elevated rate on your treadmill. This will keep the weight off your joints.

I don't think you will have any real damage but you may be sore for a week and in pain tomorrow. Best wishes!

Biking (stationary or real) is another good exercise that'll be far easier on your joints.
