Too skinny?!


Question: Merry christmas.. eve. Anyways im 6'0, 17 years old , and weigh 140. I smoke marijuana daily, so naturally i eat alot, however my ribs show alot, my hip bones can also be seen, my family always makes fun of me and calls me anorexic, with knowledge that im not. I started lifting and notice nice changes in my abs and arms, my abs because of my lack of body fat lol. But anyways, what could be the possible reasons for my metabolism being so fast, most people that have an incredible metabolism, you cannot see their hip bones like you can see mine. My wrists are also tiny, can easily put a thumb and middle finger around them, the colored wristbands people always have seem to not even fit, they are too big for my wrists. I know deadlifts increase bone mass, but ..how can i gain around my stomach and sides without gaining fat. One thing i notice is that i sweat so easily, the only cardio i do is usually in my pe class haha. But in PE i sweat so easily and people even ask me why i do. Ideas?

Your ideal weight would be 184 lbs so you could certainly do with a bit of extra weight.

Perhaps plenty of unsalted nuts such as peanuts, almonds and cashews might help as they contain about 700 calories per 100 gm.

You're a guy weighing 140? Yes that's very skinny please gain some weight!

If you stop smoking, youll get healthier and might be able to gain some weight

I have the same problem, I'm 6'3 and weigh 160 and you can see my ribs so bad, but whats funny is that I eat hellas and I mean hellas. Except I don't smoke pot. You might want to just get some protein shakes
