Weight Problem ?!


Question: My name is Ricky and im 16 years old, and ive found out im just nearly on the border line of boys like me being obese, but ijust a bit off.

I know you probly sick of young people say how can i lose wright really fast becaus ei feel so fat , but im not like that.

I just want to take things gradually and dont rush things.

Have you any tips or hints to help me on my way with excise and food ??

If you feel hungry, drink a glass of water first. Wait ten minutes and if you still feel hungry then eat food. A lot of people (me included!) confuse thirst with hunger and eat when they don't need to.

Also, you should eat about five or six little meals throughout the day. Little and often :)

Just find something that you can do once/ or every other day. My friend walks a mile every day, but theirs always things like sit-ups and just cutting down on your sweets.

Start by watching what your eating.. if it's fast food, eat at home, don't eat junk food, and eat veggies and fruits.. Just find ones you like so you know you'll eat them.
Lots of water, at least 8-9 glasses a day... and last but not least, walk walk walk! If weather isn't permitting then walk indoors at a gym or mall. Best of luck to you hon.

In the meantime, simply cut junk food and sodas completely, and try to eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables whenever possible. Also, get involved in some fun physical activity (skating, soccer, football, running, swimming, whatever) instead of abusing TV and video games.

Start with two things. Exercise and portionsize. Exercise an hour a day. Simply walking for exercise, throw in some pushups and sittups, even if you don't do them perfect it will make you think twice about over eating. For porionsize the rule is to lose weight tke your current weight and multiply by 7, thats how many calories you should eat a day to lose weight.

well it is a good thing you are concerned. but the best way i have lost weight is just cutting my food intake down. i used to weight over 300 pounds and am now so far at 265 and i did not change what i ate i still eat some choclate and still from time to time drink a dr pepper. but like i said i just cut it in half and now i find that i could not even try to eat as much as i used to it makes me sick.. so just cut back and youll see the difference.. but love yourself for who you are not what you look like. good luck
