I have a total gym... what exercises will help me with increasing my PUSH UPS?!

if i focus most of my time on chest and arms, will my push ups increase?
what about the back exercises? should i ignore them?

Chest, arm and shoulder exercises definitely will help. But know that the exercises are really different. What I mean is doing chest, arm, or shoulder exercises will probably increase your push ups but by very few. If you do push ups constantly and set goals achieve them and set higher goals you will be able to do more and more push ups. Your body has to get used to doing push ups in order to do more. I used to bench all the time not doing push ups then I tried doing push ups and had to call it quits at 10 reps. Now I do push ups all the time and can do 50 reps havent pushed for more yet though.

ehh... just do alotta push ups in morning and in after noon and at night and youll be able to do more... when i started, i could only do 30 and now i can do 80 w/o stopping
