Answers: Heck, how about that as a New Year's resolution?

OMG, Sign me up please!!!! I hate hearing people say I need to loose weight meanwhile I watch them exercise and loose weight! LOL I actually had this conversation at my gym all the time. I am I guess lucky to loose weight quickly and with no effort however, what about us that want to gain weight??? I am a natrual ectomorph and let me tell ya if I could find something to slow my metabolism down, I'd be there in line to purchase it. It has taken me 3 months to gain 10 lbs of lean muscle. I workout three times a week with my personal trainer and trying to stick to a 3100 calorie a day diet. EKKK, that is a hell of a lot to eat for little me. But, yes, my goal is to pack on an additional 40 lbs by the end of 2008. Must say 40 lbs of lean muscle not fat. LOL Just so everyone is aware when I say pack on 40 lbs of muscle, currently I am very lean at a 6.1% bodyfat. So Yes, my New Year's Resolution is to GAIN WEIGHT!!!!! I wish there was a gym for people who just wanna gain weight! We have the opposite problem as people trying to loose weight and it's just as hard.

YES, I WANT TO GAIN WEIGHT, AS MUCH MUSCLE AS A CAN. NOT FAT, WHO NEEDS OR WANTS FAT!!!

Yes, TONS of people have problems with gaining weight so they ACTUALLY want to gain some weight so they wont be freakishly skinny... lol

Oh yes I know I want to! I am tired of being called a toothpick and saying I am "flat as a back"

Yes! My husband..he's 6'4'' and weighs just about 140. He eats and eats, but can't seem to gain anything. I'm trying to get him to start lifting weights and eating plenty of protein so that he can gain muscle.

How many skinny people have you seen in your life?
ALL OF THEM in their heart wish to gain weight!!!
oh ya, me too!! Around 20-25lbs more and i am done!

of course

Yes.

2. Sick people who need to gain weight prior to an operation or medication or long term treatment.

3. Expectant mothers for proper nutrition of their babies. Under weight mothers endanger the well being of the infant as well as their own.

4. Rebellious teens who dislike authority of parents who keep telling them to stop eating so they keep eating and gaining weight is a point of victory for them.

7. Bullies because they use their size to intimidate among other resources.

8. Homeless people, the poor, starving children, and most others in a similar predicament of not knowing when their going to eat next.

As you can see, there are a multitude of people for different reasons that want to gain weight as much as others are trying to lose it. You maybe in one point of your life or many points in your life, switching back and forth from one side to the other. Take care of yourself always.
