Confused with my pectorial muscles..?!

Question: I am a 22 year old male, 5' 10'', 185 pounds.
I used to do heavy lifting last year three times a week for about six months. I always would do the same routine - one day bicep/tricep, one day chest, one day legs and shoulders. On the chest day I would do flat, incline, and decline bench. I wanted to bulk up so my partner and I would do 3 sets of 4-6 reps.
One day about six months ago I had really bad cramps in my pectorial muscles, and they just haven't healed since I've taken up to 3 weeks off until my chest feels fine. I'll lift for about one day, and my pectorial muscles will cramp up. It's a pain because I want to continue to work out, but I can't figure out what I should do. Does anyone have any suggestions?

wish i had a decisive answer for you..... i feel bad for you dude, perhaps you have a torn or strained ligment in there that is just lingering on and taking forever to mend...

it might help a bit, but maybe try and take more glutamine and a supplment called trioflex as it helps ligaments and things like that..

i would also get it checked out with some sort of physio person.... i wish you well, and i hope u get back to your old training

how much water are you drinking? it could possibly be muscle cramps from not enough water. or, muscle strain. take longer off, take some ibuprofin (spelling?) to cut down on inflamation. use ice packs as well to cut down on swelling. if it really doesnt go away then see your doc, maybe you tore a pec, but i highly doubt that, you'd be in extreme pain and i mean EXTREME 24 hours a day if you tore a pectorial muscle!! ive pulled and strained muscles that have taken months to heal. sometimes you gotta bite the bullet and not even train that muscle group for a long time..
