Does having big quads mean your a better runner?!
Question: You know that part that's the back of your leg?
Between your *** and knee, to be more specific. :D
I think I have big quads.. even though generally I'm not a very
beefed up person. But I was always athletic and a great
runner. Can this be the reason why? Maybe it gave me more
power, lol, I don't know. Are quads even important?

i would guess yes. the more powerful the muscle is the less it has to work during periods of excercise therefore making it easier to attain higher speeds or extended distances. it was proven that one of the triple crown winners for the kentucky, secretariat, had a heart that was like 15%-20% larger than most horses, there fore being able to pump blood and oxygenate the blood better. He set the still standing record for churchhill downs and the kentucky derby in 1973.
