How do I lose weight in the tummy/side area?!

Question: I'm not really fat at all, it's just I have some extra flab on my stomach and side/love handle areas.
I do 60+ crunches everyday but someone told me that just tightens the muscles, not burn fat.
What else can I do?
Maybe for the theigh area too?

In order to loss weight, you will need to find the root cause on your weight gain. Once you find out the root cause, you will be able to come out a weight loss plan that able to help to reduce your weight.

Only with a realistic weight loss plan, you will be able to achieve it easily.

In order to have ideal weight. few things to take note.

Diet

- Try to have plenty of starchy foods such as rice, bread, pasta, potatoes,
- Aim to have five portions of a variety of fruit and vegetables daily
- Use a moderate amount of dairy prod

Physical Activity

Getting active is one of the best ways to lose weight and keep fit. There are all sorts of activities and
sports that can get you moving and aid weight loss.

Calories and Weight

A pound of fat equals 3500 calories. To lose 1 pound a week you will need to expend 3500 more calories than you eat that week, whether through increased activity or
decreased eating or both. Losing 1-2 pounds of fat a week is a sensible goal

that someone is correct. crunches only build muscle, it does nothing to fat.

you need to do cardio exercise. but if you're not fat at all, then don't overdo it. 30 minutes for 4x a week is good enough. but make sure it's intense enough so that if you are talking to someone, you're huffing & puffing but they can still understand what you're saying with no problem.

oh & change your diet. don't eat saturated fat, well actually that's impossible. just eat as little as you possibly can. eat healthy fats like in nuts (but stray away from cashews), fish, & olive oil. & try not to eat simple carbs like refined flour & sugar; excess energy that you don't use up from those foods will be stored as fat, mostly in your tummy area.
