You are a kid, and you have what is called baby fat, it is normal, and with the running around you kids do, you need that to get you through the day. As you get older, the weight will come off, and you will grow taller. I will tell you to eat healthy meals, so as you get older you will have good eating habits, and not gain weight. My grandson is about the same as you, but is 12 and he is starting to thin out, and grow taller. He is going to be a solid built kid because of his heritage. He is watching what he eats and trying to eat healthier, because he wants to play football, and wants muscle not fat.

Well, your weight doesnt sound TOO bad to me. But im 15, 5' 7'' and weigh around 122 pounds. So maybe just a few pounds should do the trick for you. GOOD LUCK!

Eat when you are hungry, NOT when you are feeling down or depressed. If you eat when you are depressed, you will only get more depressed when you start puting on weight.

I wouldn't listen to your brother. You sound like you're right about where you should be maybe even a little under.

Worrying about your weight is perfectly normal and beneficial.

Ask your family doctor if your weight is average according to your height and age. You will get a more accurate answer.

The most important thing, however, is to be healthy and stay healthy. This will ensure that you will love longer and stay happy!

But....

If you are looking to loose weight quickly and keep it stable, you have to balance exercise with a healthy diet. In the long run, developing anorexic habits and then resuming your old diet afterwards, will ony cause you to gian more weight than you already have! This means that one day you may like your figure, but a month later you may swell up like a balloon.

Also, you want to avoid depression, so becareful about your eating habits. A diet consisting of a mixture of fruits and vegetables, will lower your craving for sweets and increase the nutritious value of your meals. Your face will be glowing and your cheeks will be that right shade of red, due to the fact that your skin will be nourished properly.

Make sure that you drink at least one glass of orange juice each morning; this would ensure that you are taking your daily recommended intake of Vitamin C.

You can reduce the amount of calories you intake, and still maintain a healthy lifestyle by eating at least 3 full meals a day. This includes: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

For ex.
For Breakfast-A bowl of wheat cerial and milk.
For Lunch-Rice marinated with different vegetables.
For Dinner-A bowl of vegetable meat soup.

If you really feel that you must eat something in between, do not turn to snacks such as chocolate and chips. Eat apples, bannanas, or any other type of fruit. They increase your energy supply without causing you to insistently need more to keep your energy level stable.

Don't forget that chocolate and sweets give you a boost of energy which does not last, diminishing your energy level after minutes. This is why you always need more of them eventhough you are stuffed!

Also, avoid takeout food which is really greasy. It contains a high calorie intake eventhough it does not satisfy hunger.

During the winter, it's difficult to excercise outdoors. Try joining a local fitness gym, where you can use tread machines and weights. Who knows, taken yoga classes may help reduce your stress! =)I hope this helps.

Most big brothers think it is their job to be mean to their little siblings. You do not sound fat at all! So don't worry.

Your 11. You are about to hit a growth spurt. And developing if your not already so weight loss is not a good idea right now as your body needs a little extra to convert in this time. Always a healthy eating plan is good and cut out junky snacks and exercise. If your an active kid, don't overdo the junk and are happy with the way you look, don't worry about bro. Your height and weight sound normal to me.
