Is it anorexia if i simply forget to eat?!


Question: I don't think so. Anorexics usually don't eat because they are afraid of becoming fat, even though they are actually too thin and unhealthy. If you "forget" to eat, it just means you have a very low appetite. Do you eat healthy things when you do remember? If so, then you are okay. Maybe you should carry snacks like nuts or sunflower seeds with you so you have something healthy and filling to eat when you do remember.

no and its when your so skinny , ya ribs pops out or you make yaself throw up. or just count the calories on the box and desperately making yaself more skinny

not if you forget, but you should try to eat properly, because even if your not eating out of the intention to look thinner, its not healthy, and you should worry about your health

no anorexia is if you think your really fat and you look in the mirror and thing you are the fattest person every and make sure you don't eat over a certain amount of calories like 600 or 800 calories a day. Also, when you loose a tremendous amount of weight, when you aren't even fat to begin with, in a short amount of time, that is being anorexic.

Skipping a meal once in a while is not. I mean you shouldn't but it is not bad. Everyone does once in a while.

oo and what the first answer says it is not making you throw up. That is a whole different disease called balemia and is the complete opposite. It has opposite causes and everything.

How can someone "forget" to eat? Our bodies need fuel to run properly, and they tell us when we are running low. If you "ignore" or "refuse" to eat when you detect those signals, you may have a problem.

if you forget to eat its not anorexia, its forgeting, anorexia is a mental and emotional problem,as well as an eating disorder. It can come from may sources, from family, friends, to your job and hobbys. its not just being thin, its thinking that no matter how thin you are you still are trying to lose weight and think you are fat.
