How much are you suppose to weigh if your 17 and 5'8 to 5'9?!


Question: im a 17yr old boy and weigh 237poundsive dropped from 258. and my heights 5-8 to 5-9 and im planning on building some muscle.maybe like vin diesel.anyone know what target aim i should aim for thanks.

hmm well see if you are looking to loose weight and you are 17 years old, 237 pounds, and 5'8"-5'9" you are over weight according to the BMI calc. to not be overweight, you should range from 130-164. now. do not forget that muscle weighs more than fat. to get muscles "like vin diesel" you should try starting out with a littel more easier exercises. try doing pushups. roughly 50 a night... once you master that you can go to the gym or if you have weights at home you can lift weights, roughly 17 -18 reps per set. you can do as many sets as you feel comfortable with. dont over work out. make sure to eat healthy foods only. try to not tempt yourself. most people eat out of boredum. when you are going to get something to eat.. think to yourself "am i really hungry? or am i just bored" if you find you arent really all that hungry and you dont want to lift weights, go play basketball or a fun activity that involves working. that way you can have fun , not over eat, and workout at the same time. hope i helped [: good luck! oh and dont forget. if you dont see results within a few days dont get stressed its a long process, but it will eventually work in the end.
