How many lifts should I do?!


Question: i am 12 and i have a 5 pound dumbbell (don't say lift heavier weights because i might strain my self,i am only 12) so how many times should i lift and how often to get stronger but not stop growing or strain myself?i am also doing push ups everyday

OK do 12 rep- which mean you do 12 time= 1 rep, 5 pounds is a good start. And do one arm first and than the other and come back to let me know of your progress and good luck.

I heard 8-12 reps is the best, but for you try 7. Do like 5 sets and chose a number of reps that you can do for 5 sets.
