Would pumping iron everyday do you any harm?!
Question: not if you do it correctly. muscles need recovery time. working out tears up fibers, and your body repairs them and adds a few more to try and compensate for the future, then you hit them again and do it over and over. that is what causes them to grow. robbed of recovery they will not grow. they will be in a constant state of repair. in that state they are more likely to get injured. you can life every day by focusing on different groups of muscles on different days.

Yes it would, your body not only needs recovery time for the individual muscles but for the whole body. Take at least ONE day a week off, you know?
But as the above guy said, you need to do it correctly and not overtrain.
