L glutamine/ Mass question??!

Question: Ok my friend and I have been lifting for some time now. I am on a diet and he is not. He started taking L glutamine2 m0onths), and i started taking whey protein. We work out the same amount, well i may lift a little bit more often than him but he has got way more of a chisled look. His muscles have increased in mass and he does half the work? IS this it's purpose?? increase mas? well I bough a container of it today and it says take a 5 gram scoop post workout, and before bed? Scam? anyone ever take it before? how much should I really take?? any info would be helpful. Thanks.

i used to take it but i wasn't lifting weights. after about 2 weeks i noticed my muscles were harder. and that's not from lifting weights so i would guess that if i took more and lifted, it would be a awesome thing to take.

but yea it could be just genes that your friend has gained faster then you.

I think all L glutamine does is repair your muscles,I'm no expert though. It could be genetics, some people gain harder than others.

If you are an ectomorph and have trouble putting on weight than you would be better off with a weight gainer and a good diet, one of the best out there would have to be CytoGainer.

L-Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in the body and well worth supplementing if your training hard.

You need to take 10 grams as the first 5 g goes straight to the stomach to heal the gut what is left goes to the muscles.

Taking 5 g will not benefit your muscles but 10g will.

Try this for a while.

You need to also remember that each of your body's are individual and will respond differently to the same diet and stimuli. Also lifting more does not mean you will gain more, sometimes more is less. Diet, rest and recovery also have a part to play.
