What is a normal/decent weight for a five foot five inch seventeen year old?!

Question: I weight about 134 pounds. =/

And while I'm at it, how could I /safely/ get rid of arm flab and loose inches on my upper thighs?

this sounds like a normal weight - i'm also 5ft 5in and weight 136lbs & this is in the normal weight range.

check out your local gym for a class called body pump - it uses weights & gives you a great work out - uses a different track for legs, chest, biceps, triceps, abs etc - it tones you up with quick results - have a look at the website - it uses all the latest music & it's really good fun too - I've been doing this class for aboutn 6 months & it's totally changed the shape of my body for my wedding.

good luck :o)

i weigh 8 and half stone but id say up 9 stone is average

8 to 9 stone

sounds about right to me .. exercise is the only thing that will tone muscle

I always heard that you should weigh 100 pounds for the first 5 feet, and 5 pounds per inch over 5 feet, so you should weigh about 125 pounds.

im 137-
age 14.
5'4".
its healthy, but deff exercise and watch calories.

anything from 8-9stone is coming in about perfect weight but it more important to eat a sensible and healthy diet and get plenty exercise

About 9 stone.

a bit of excercise for you thunder thighs
the weight seems ok

just stay fit, your weight is good and if you want to tone up a little then take some exercise.
you don't need to lose weight though and girls have a bit more meat on their thighs anyway, so its all good.

134 is good especially if you exercise it. If you wanna get rid of arm flab, do some triceps work. Aerobic stuff is good for flab too. Running is great for thighs, or if you wanna hit the weight room you can do squats. Just remember that the weights will tone you but they won't drop any pounds from you, since muscle is heavier than fat.

Your weight is in the ideal range for your height. The range is from 120 - 137lbs. The best way I think to tone up the arms and thighs is swimming.
