Are Ramen noodles bad for you?!

Question: The noodles are good for you, but the spice pack isn't?

Answers: The noodles are good for you, but the spice pack isn't?

the spice pack has a LOT of sodium which isn't good for you - the packaging should give nutritional information with and without the spice pack ("prepared") - I used to eat the noodles without the spices because I like noodles and didn't care too much for the flavor!

WAYYY too much sodium.

no, i dont think even the noodles are good for you. check the nutrition value on the package.

I hope not, Ramen noodles=yummy!

the whole thing is bad. one package has 400 cals

I think the main problem with the spice pack is that it's EXTREMELY high in sodium. Use half and it'll be much healthier. :)

I don't think any of it is bad for you.

The spice pack isn't because it's filled with artificial flavor. but they're still yummy!

The noodles are good, but the spice pack is mostly sodium. I say when you eat them only use half the spice pack.

I have no idea, but I don;t really care because I love ramen noodles. Unless you eat it a lot or something, then it's probebly not the healthiest you can eat.

their nutiritonally void, and the spice pack has about a bazillon grams of sodium...its just empty calories and lots of sodium...

The flavor packet is horrible for you. There's so much sodium and the entire packet is more than one serving size.

Of course the noodles are fine. They're not amazingly great for you, but it's just pasta.

The Ramen noodle has absolutely no nutritional value. The noodles are mostly comprised of enriched wheat flour, a simple sugar. The seasoning is merely salt that will dehyrdrate you.

All instant ramen noodles are bad for you. Loaded with preservatives and chemicals. Fresh hand made ramen noodles are a different story, like pasta, they are loaded with carbs so you should limit your intake.

Nah. My sister lived on Ramen noodles when she lived alone. She actually lost about 15 lbs doing this. If you're worried about sodium, just do like I do and put only 1/2 to 2/3 of the pack, it still tastes good.

Read the label!

They aren't bad for you but they aren't good for you either. There is no nutritional value at all.
