It's rather pointless as working out rips the muscles, while the actual muscle building comes from the rest and recovery. Exerciesing intensly and not giving your muscles time to rest can actually result in muscle loss and deteriation! So make sure you get a good nights sleep after a workout and never train if your still feeling a little bit sore.
