How much do you need to exercise a day/ a week in order to lose weight??!


Question: If you do cardio for 45-60 minutes, 3 times a week (strength training in between would be great, too), and eat smaller proportions of food, you should probably lose 1-2lbs per week. Try every other day, for example, you exercise on monday, rest on tues, so that way your muscle can rest, exerise on wedn, rest on thurs, and so on, but thats the way I do it.

5 days a week would be good.

Experts all say different things but realistically everyone can put aside 30 min. a day to do some sort of exercise. Wearing a pedometer and forcing yourself to walk more is a great way to get some extra exercising in. Try joining a dieting forum such as www.dietplatoon.com
