Of course for New Years Resolution....as most do I want to loose weight....?!


Question: I just want to loose maybe 30 pounds and get into shape. I am going on a cruise in August and I want to start on it early. But how can I do this? i don't eat a lot of sweets but I do eat a lot of starches and carbs. My fiance and I take turns cooking homemade meals everynight. It ranges from meatloaf & mashed potatoes, steak and baked potatoe, speg., porkchops, rice, corn, etc. I don't know how to loose weight eating like this. Please give me some ideas. Also he could stand to loose a little to but he doesn't want to. I would like to start a new menu that would help us both but he loves his rice and I love my corn. Any ideas??? Thanks.

Calories and Weight

Healthy diet

- Take the stairs instead of the lift
- Keep walking whilst the escalator caries you up
- Walk or cycle instead of driving short distances

- Aim to have five portions of a variety of fruit and vegetables daily
