Eat NO junk, only whole foods. Cut out all sugar, high fructose corn syrup, etc. Don't drink pop. Don't eat white flour, white rice, boxed cereals or anything in a box or can unless it has the most simple and natural ingredients. Eat plenty of protein, veggies and fruits. Eat carbs but only complex carbs found in whole grains and beans.

Exercise! Start moving every day! Cardio like running, brisk or uphill walkikng, cycling, stairs, kickboxing, dancing is what you should be doing for at least 30 minutes. Add weights working your entire body; arms, back, chest, tummy, legs, butt. Do this every other day doing only a few mintues of cardio to warm up.

If you do this, you will lose weight and your tummy will go down! Pay attention to serving sizes and don't eat too much, but even still, eating whole foods and being able to eat when hungry is important. Depriving yourself of too many calories can be bad and drive you to binge later. Listen to your body. Good Luck!

Your best bet is going to be situps, crunches, and try that ab-lounge machine, it worked for me.

When you do crunches do high reps like maybe 100 a piece because crunches are much easier than situps

On situps, if you want faster results do Declines situps and/or put a weight on your stomach while doing them, to cause your stomach to work harder. GOOD LUCK!

what i do is i eat 1200 calories a day in only healthy foods, no empty calories. and i do 20 situps every night and 20 every morning when i wake up. it works for me, i have flat abs.

you have to do it by dieting and sit ups..

Diet part;
If you follow these tips you will lose weight.
First of all your body can healthly lose only 2-4 lbs a week. Also i would not reccomend one of those diet books or programs because once you lose the weight you will go back to doing what you did before and gain it all back.
Here is what you need to cut out of your diet or limit.
-sodas they are empty calories and just add fat.
-also juices try to limit 1 cup of o.j. has as much sugar as a can of soda.
-fast food. they provide no nutrients and terrible meals they do have healthly selections at all fast food stores if you pic those you will do much better.
-junk food is also empty calories its ok now and then just don't over do it.
Here are foods that you can indulge on.
-veggies since they are so healthy for you and provide you with many nutrients the calories in them are meaningless.
-water!! you should drink64oz. a day at first you will pee alot but then you will get used to it.
-when eating meat try to eat chicken because it is the best.
other tips
- try to have baked foods not fried.
-eat breakfast and try to have it mostly be complex carbs like oatmeal and wheat bread they will give you energy all throughout the day.
-don't skip meals when you do your body thinks it is being starved so it will hold in more calories instead of burning them.
WORKING OUT
you need to buy some weights or go to a gym and work on increasing your muscles. because that will increase you resting metabolic rate which is how many calories you burn while simply doing nothing and you will see weight loss just from that also doing 50-100 squats(5-10min) will help increase muscle in your legs.
running is also a good way to help your overall apperience.
and pilates is a good way to tone your body a simple pilates tape done three times a week along with weights and you will see a difference.

go online and find some healthy meal recipes and use them try to reduce the number of calories you take in daily but not by too much.
hope this helps you.

Exercise part.
Denise Austin is amazing!!! she come on lifetime in the mornings..or you can buy her dvds..she does pilates and yoga type ab exercises.

i actually bought that cross crunch thing n i already have a pretty flat stomach but using that thing once a day all week made a huge improvement n im pretty sure i only paid like 20 bucks or something cheap like that so im pretty convinced that it'll work for other people too i feel like an infomercial lol but i am serious it made my stomach flat n more defined u just have to keep up with it which i have a hard time doing

Variety of exercise is the key I have found. For example..an exercise called Mountain Climbers. Its from a workout that also contains a section for females and males which is excellent.

Mountain climbers are done by starting in a pushup position
and then shuffling your feet in and out so that your knees are
moving in under your chest and then back out to starting
position. It sort of resembles climbing a mountain but flat on
the floor. If you want an advanced version, you can also shuffle your hands 8-10 inches forward and backward in
addition to the leg movements. This really makes it a full
body exercise and MUCH more difficult than standard mountain climbers.

After finishing each exercise, rest about 30 seconds before
starting the next exercise. Rest about 1-2 minutes after
completing each "tri-set" before repeating.

This will give you one of the best ab workouts you've ever had
without even doing any direct ab exercises. You'll see what I
mean after you try it!

Once you get away from the myth that a 1000 crunches and 500 situps a day is all you need to do for great abs, then amazing results can be seen.

There is a completely free 65 page ebook about exercise, nutrition, abs and stomaches in particular at http://www.stayprotected.com that you can download (no catch!) and it is excellent.

It helped me greatly.
