There is a "fat paranoia" going on. It's just another shot at conformity by the hitlerites in this country. Instead of worrying so much about how a person looks, they should be more concerned at how a person ACTS. Shallow, shallow, shallow. And I feel horribly sorry for those poor, weak minded souls who fall victim to it all. First off, a person has to love themselves before anyone else is going to do it. They need to stop worrying about trying to look like everybody else and look into themselves and love who they are. If more people would do just that alone, we wouldn't have so many people worrying about whether or not they need to be thin to be in.

You can't.
Unless you ban them.

...even then, they won't stop.

A lot of people are concerned with their weight because the media portrays a lot of thin people as well as projecting obesity to be a huge problem. They probably don't want to ask anyone at home because they feel they won't get an honest opinion to their face or will feel ashamed asking.
And it seems a lot of people on here are teens and wouldn't feel comfortable asking their parents, who may be the only ones around.

good point!
i guess they just want a public's opinion

why? are u fat?

Sadly too many people think if you're even 5-15 pounds overweight you're fat. It used to be 50+ pounds was fat. Now if you're a woman and you're anything more than a 6-8, you're a friggen cow. Makes no damn sense to me. People should live how they want to live and stop worrying so much about weight. If you look good and can wear it well, who gives a crap if you're 20, 30, or even 60 pounds overweight?
