Why am i fat?!


Question: im 5'6 weigh 175 pounds
i lost 15 pounds i could swear i look even fatter
i ate the right foods excersise and eveything why do i still look fat everybody thinks i look the same

Firstly, congratulations on losing the 15 pounds. You could not possibly look fatter after losing weight. Keep up the good work of eating the right things and exercising, believe me, it will pay off for you.And when people pay you compliments, BELIEVE them. And no, i don't think you really are fat.

well, its probably genetic or something, have u ever considered that if tyour paretns were fat, then you might be 2. i am like that my moms kinda fat an so is my dad im a little chubby but not overweight....at least i don't think i am...

Your name says a lot when you ask this type question. IF and I say IF you are fat it is because you eat too much and exercise too little. No other way to explain it.

Have a health check up.

There really are medical conditions that cause people to gain weight.

Its probably because you eat unheathy.

DONT eat fast food, it is always bad for you no matter what.

nooo...its just because when you first start loosing weight you dont really notice but if u keep loosing pounds you'll notice but your not fat cause.im 160...and im just thick but your not really big if u think about it...

the reason u lost weight but still look fat is because you lost muscle and replaced it with fat and u lost the weight cuz muscle weighs allot more then fat.... so even though the numbers say u lost weight.... it prob looks like you gained weight
i suggest you keep exercising and u will lose that extra weight and look and feel great!

Yea. I understand bro. Keep working out and just plan to lose like 50 lbs. This may sound terrible, but what works for me is that I do not eat for a few days, or I eat very little. That always seems to work.

You say you eat the "right foods" What you consider are the right foods, may not be the right foods for your body! Carbs are what becomes fat if you do not use them. Limit your carbs to 25 to 30 a day and you will drop weight like water ...oh and drink a lot of water!

PS....are you cheating?

try to exercise everyday, keep eating healthy, and sleep at least 8 hours a night - you will get there!!

Check with your doctor. it may be in your head...how do your clothes fit these days as compared to before? How much time has passed and are you still exercising? It may take longer for your muscles to tone up, than just to lose some weight, but you also may have some sort of hormonal/thyroid imbalance that is causing trouble, and your doctor can evaluate that and help you correct it. Thyroid, incidentally, is a pretty simple correction, once you get the dosage right.

Lots of things make us feel as if we're "fat" ... or not ... and lots of times how we feel doesn't match what is real ... 15 pounds is a great start .. don't lose hope now! Keep on going .. add some new exercises to your day ... and get out a tape measure, and ask a friend to measure you ... those numbers will change even if it seems like you don't look different .. or, just pay attention to how your clothes fit ... I'll bet things feel looser now then they used to .. so let that help motivate you!

well you got to lose weight slowly you know ease into it if you go out and lose 20 pounds in one or two weeks even three too five you'll just gain it back because thats how your body works, dramatic changes don't work for everyone

you probably need to be eating alot more fruits and stuff like that. and you are just chubby. you should be thankful you're not as big as my brother who died from being obese. just work on yourself, and don't give up. you'll get there.

Dont say it yourself you are a fat.... and then go on time to Diet and Exercises.. your legs, arms, backs, stomach, and chest everyday...
