Answers: Just good exrcises??

well, my stepdad he hardly ever gets a cold but he runs/jogs/walks the neighborhood when he is sick or cold. i ride my bike. if you have a fever you should at night put a heavy comforter and a few blankets on. make sure you keep them on if you dont you wont sweat your cold out. in the morning when you wake up you will be soaked in sweat. i hope that helps.

I always heard pain from the neck up, its ok to excercise, if it is below the neck (i.e. fever, tummy ect) don't work out.

Whenever i start feeling like a cold is coming on, I just go the gym and run 4 or 5 miles. I'll do that for a couple of days and then I get better. Idk why but it works for me. I usually run alot anyways but I'll increase the intensity so I sweat more.

When you get a cold, there is no such thing as "sweating it out". That is an old myth and I challenge anyone to find any clinical studies that support it. Yes, you need to keep warm to increase the enzymatic/metabolic activity that will breakdown the pathogen causing your symptoms. Your body will do this automatically for you (hence why most get a fever). Raising the temp too much actually decreases the metabolic/enzymatic activity, as well as causes you to loose water in excess.

Same goes as far as exercising, one of the worst things you could do when you are sick is goto the gym, or stress your body in any way.

What do you do for a cold?...Rest and nutrition. You should be eating and drinking regularly, and getting as much rest as possible in between. Cold medications may provide temporary relief of symptoms, but they do nothing to help cure you any sooner.
