I am 15 about 5'7 and weigh 230?!


Question: i have recently been lifting weights while also running the treadmill for about 40 minutes a day than i do workout on my abdominal area for a good 40 minutes then i hop in the sauna in 3 weeks i have lost 17 pounds are there any other suggestions ppl have that might help me on my quest to lose 100 pounds in a year is greatly appreciated thank you and god bless =]

wow man nice job. i wish i had the dedication that u have to run. i just lift. however, reduce ur ab workout by about 30-35 minutes. Your doing way too much for your abs to handle. If you do 5 straight, barely any resting minutes of abwork, ull truely feel the burn. And thats how it should be, abdominal muscles are the only muscles that recover within seconds, so you gotta work fast!!!

Sounds like you are doing a good job.

Keep doing what you're doing, and however much water you are drinking in a day, double it, this will help you lose water weight.

cut back on carbs/starch (bread, pasta, kraft dinner etc) drink 6-8 glasses of water per day, cut back on caffeine (soda, and even diet soda), go for a daily run/jog/walk.

Keep up what ur doing and eat healty

i think your doing a great job...just remeber to eat healthy foods (vegtables, fruits).....stay off the carbs:)

Yes, you're doing great.

Cut out sugary snacks including soft drinks and sports drinks, sweet tea, sugary cereals ect. Cut out any processed foods and eat more vegetables and fresh food. Eat smaller portions of meals but eat more frequently as it will help speed up your metabolism.

Eat more fruits and vegetables and little to no fast food. If you must eat fast food because you're with others who insist on stopping there and you're along for the ride, eat grilled and take off the bread.

a key step in losing weight is to make sure you lay off the white breads completely - only whole-grain breads, no pastries, brownies, donuts, cookies, cake.
make sure you drink plenty of water and don't drink much juice and NO SODA (juice has a lot of added sugar and sugar even without additives - just eat fruit) milk is good, too, but make sure it's not more than 1%

20 pounds is a lot already keep your hard work on..
and if u work out alot you will gain a lot of muscles and muscles make u weigh more than fat.

1. Start a diet - probably Winter diet

3. Exercise as you are doing - cardio exercises are best for fat burn
4. Go ahead even once you eat something "wrong"

well i work at a gym and you are doing pretty good, make sure you are drinking a lot of water, you body can hold onto fat if you don't, also you need to doing different things not the same thing ever day. go to a gym it's more fun
